The intruder today was 2022 Dumfries and Galloway’s 037. He’s a regular here, and made a dramatic appearance on camera this afternoon. UV had been away from Nest 5A for a while when 037 approached the nest. Where 643, who is visiting both UV and Y1 at Nest 4, was waiting hoping for a fish.

037 tried to copulate with 643 several times, without success. Which is her usual response to both UV and Y1!
She had been at Nest 4 early today before moving across to Nest 5A.

She had seemed to be more settled on Nest 5A than Nest 4, but it is too early to declare the winner in the competition for her company.
