On 29 April 3H3, one of the three female youngsters from Rutland Osprey Project’s Manton Bay nest, landed briefly on Nest 5A.
Going one better her sister 3H5 arrived at Nest 7 on 14 May complete with a catch.

KX7 and KM18 were about to change incubation shifts, and weren’t happy to see 3H5. She stayed a few seconds before flying off to enjoy her lunch.

KM18 chased after her, whilst KX7 settled on the eggs and a fish!
It’s great news for Rutland Osprey Project that two of the three 2023 offspring have returned safely. Who knows, we may yet see 3H4!

Oh wow thank you for sharing, this is fantastic news for the ROP and Kielder two strong siblings I watched these girls from hatching to fledgling then migrating, so wonderful to see them back safe, still time for 3H4 to turn up yet 🥰
