No sooner had the blog about 1B7/Gibshiel been published than he appeared at his natal nest!

    Really good news! Hopefully he’ll remember his natal nest for next year and try and attract a female next year (or even this year, still time to bond!) :)

    I never cease to be amazed by the inherent navigation skills of wild creatures. Not only did IB7 find his own way to West Africa, with no parental help, but two years on he returns to the very nest where he hatched. And most human beings cannot reach an address a few miles away, without satnav!
