Visits to Nests 9 and 10 today found all the youngsters had fledged.
Both Nest 9 offspring were landing away from the nest.
At Nest 10 the sole juvenile made several short flights away from the nest and back. It appeared to be a more recent fledge.

It is good news that all six of this season’s offspring in the study area have fledged successfully and hopefully they have time to gain valuable experience before they head off on migration.
There was an interesting event on Nest 1A today. 3B5/Irthing was on the nest when KF13 came down from her perch on the camera and started mantling and alarm calling. Sure enough an adult osprey flew high over the nest, but at almost the same time a juvenile landed. 3B3/Ingram from Nest 7! KF13 was not concerned, which is quite normal behaviour by an adult if a juvenile manages to land. She went back to the camera.

But 3B5/Irthing was not relaxed at all, and jumped repeatedly at the intruder who eventually took the hint.
3B5/Irthing returned to intermittent flights and dozing or preening.

Yes, it is good news Joanna , thank you. And as you say , they all have time to gain valuable experience before setting off on a long migration. I bet Ingram was just having a nonchalant rest up before setting of home.
