Good Morning,

I am only including two things today. I know that Jackie’s passing remains with each of us.

Jackie was much loved. There are literally hundreds, if not thousands, of tributes to her. Look them up and be surprised. She was world-famous along with Shadow. Their antics and their persistence in trying to raise eaglets in the highest bald eagle nest in the United States will never be forgotten. I feel so grateful to have seen Spirit – the name suited her so well, Gizmo and Sunny, and lastly, that close pair, like they were twins, Sandy and Luna. Jackie gave us hope that good would come. We sat up with her through blizzard after blizzard, worrying as she kept her eggs warm. 62 hours without food once. The other number is the days that Shadow incubated (80) unviable eggs, wanting eaglets so much.

I will miss them as a couple. They were the best!
