It was a beautiful flight. Xavier was outside taunting Yurruga. Diamond was at her side. Then Diamond flew. Yurruga was watching everything. She took off like a pro with perfect form. It was a beautiful Monday morning in Orange, Australia. 06:03:55.

Yurruga joins her parents flying around the water tower. It was brilliant. No fludge for this young man or lady.
She has perfect flying form.
Yurruga leans down and out she goes. Magnificent.

Diamond returns to the scrape box ledge. Her job is mostly over.
Diamond watches from the ledge cam. Xavier and Yurruga are flying by. Xavier will teach Yurruga to fly and hunt along with team teaching with Diamond.

You are very welcome. Diamond came back to the ledge to watch and joined in the flying once. It is such a great day for them. So different that last year. It is joyful. Family celebration! Now to just hope Ervie and Bazza are OK today.

Hi Salliane, I don’t think you could wish for a more perfect ending to this season at Orange. Diamond came back to the scrape ledge and has watched and joined in with the flying. Such a very different year to last. Joyful.
I was able to see the nesting. It was so wonderful.
It was also really great that they turned off the water pump before flying.

Oh, Akane. That is wonderful! There is nothing like seeing a chick fledge at that moment. Yurruga was so confident. (Oh that pump is horrible but it is a safe place for the birds). I will be looking for falcons for us to watch. Cilla will post pictures and I will make sure they are on the blog. It was a happy day.
